I have always been enchanted with famous people and Battlefields.
As a child I was impressed with many celebrities and often watched their escapades via the cinema. And of course male children loved war pictures during growing up days.
As you examine the contents of this book you will find many old and new personalities. As you read you will have many ideas of what I like and share. I hope you will enjoy this program.

‘Nimbus’ is an anthology of English poems. In the words of the author “My poems in English are perhaps those which I could not pen in Hindi - not due to inadequecy in the language ------but these poems had their nascency in English language and could not be expresed in another language”. A small poem: Hurled a star in the sky/Climbed the moon, and went by/ Looked at the earth, /Continents and oceans/Went in search of dimensions/More we discovered more we found/Farther but remained the final frontiers.

When We reach SeptemberAs we use the calendar for the analogy of one’s life, we find that September is the autumn of fall of one’s life, we are getting older and seemingly the days are getting shorter.
Coupled with that we begin a nostalgic process that becomes a driving force to remember friends and associates of decades past, wondering how life has deal with them. Many of these poems deal with nostalgia.of the nature of man. The Poet, Robert Browning, wrote, “Grow old along with me, the best is yet to be…” Perhaps he was correct, but he was a young at that time when the aches and pains of old age were not manifest in his life.

Good Times and Hard Times is a thought that grew out of the Great Depression of the 1930s, followed by World War Two that engulfed the world during the 1940s. Indeed, there were good memories as well as hard lessons to be learned during those two decades when I was a boy.
Many of the poems were conceived during the economic depression and the horrible war that followed. As I penned the words in rhyme, at times a smile would flash across my face as I recalled the good times. At other times a frown reminding me that even a rose had thorns.
So is life, happy and sad, often good, but frequently difficult.
I leave you with rhymes and the French expression, “C’est la vie!” So is life or simply. That’s life!

Volume One, to remind us of who we are, is very nostalgic for me. It is a compilation of my first work during 2007 and 2008. I was about to turn seventy-five and this was my first effort in poetry. Some of it is reminds me of my beginning as a writer and I blush. Indeed it reminds me of who I am and who I was. Now when I need perspective in my writing, I go back and read this volume. Painfully, I see my origin.
Things progressed during the following years and most of my peers said so. The reason I include this volume is for the purpose of illustrating to new poets that there is a beginning for all of us as we learn to write. Thank you for your encouragement.

This title is different from the rest. It contains scary tales about vampires and vampire killers. It also is an instruction booklet to my sons who tell ghost stories while camping in the wilderness. While publishing a number of poems and short stories in this volume, I also give advice, as an old story teller as to the craft of telling good, interesting and scary tales.
Everyone has a few good frightening tales, but then ruin the effect by not knowing how to proceed. My dear mother was of that nature. Her stories were exciting and often breathe taking, yet in her enthusiasm, she had the tendency to blurt out the ending or punch lines first. I made some suggestions about that. Good reading.
